Transmission failed under 15,000 MI waste of money don't do it a bad job should get at least 40000 mile the only reason it would fail under 15000 miles is if it was rebuilt improperly

2007 Ford explore quote before picking up $1000-$1500 with a one year warranty seven days later I received a call stating there was more damage than expected The casing was damaged so the price will be $2200 with a one-year warranty I paid $800 upfront by card. Three days later I received a call stating my vehicle was ready in the price was $2400 for a one year warranty or $2200 for a six year warranty six-year warranty Was not discourse on this matter it all. The salesman had a nasty attitude and claiming he told me this and told me that which is a total lie this is a total rip off .

Very professional staff. Allowed me to make payments on my bill without any storage fees..I have also recommended this transmission shop to all my friends and family

NIGHTMARE SERVICE EXPERIENCE AVOID AVOID AVOID! I brought my 2007 Cadillac DTS in to Mr. Transmission for repairs. People Please don't waste your time getting your vehicle service here.... you will regret it. Trust me. This is what happened…. Check this out… I had previously posted this same review and I received a call from Mr. Transmission begging me to remove the review. They offered me money to remove the review. (PEOPE THIS IS HOW SHADY THEY ARE) AFTER I REMOVED THE REVIEW. THEY DID NOT GIVE THE SMALL PARTIAL REFUND ON MY FUNDS. ISN’T THAD DIRTY? DO YOU REALLY EVEN WANT TO DEAL WITH SUCH A REPAIR FACILITY? DO YOURSELF A FAVOR TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE DEALER. YOU WILL COME OUT CHEAPER SHAD TREE MECHANICS FLY BY NIGHT! My Cadillac was supposed to have had the speed sensor changed and gasket installed on the transmission pan. They claimed to have found shavings in the transmission. Less than two days after the repairs the car was inoperable again. We called them asking to bring the car back in to have them check the work they performed. They refused to look at the care again. The said “ we told you the transmission needed us to tear it down" they were so rude and nasty. We just wanted them to make good on the repairs that they had just done. Maybe the parts they installed was faulty or something. We were left out in the cold. After this horrible experience we took the car to crest Cadillac within a day they replace the faulty speed sensor that Mr. Transmission installed. Crest Cadillac suspected that the sensor might not have been ever changed because the original was still on the car and it hadn't been changed. Mr. Transmission also left the transmission fluid very low because $40.00 worth of trans fluid had to be added. Crest Cadillac also changed the shifter. Further Crest Cadillac found in their inspection that two wires had been rubbed raw and was touching body of car. Mr. transmission found none of they issues, failed to properly fill the car and it's highly questionable if they actually changed the speed sensor. When I confronted them about their terrible work. They hung the phone up on me and when I called back they talked to me very nasty like I was a dog or something. Please don't take yourself through this agony. DONT BRING YOUR CAR TO MR TRANSMISSION. THEY WONT MAKE GOOD ON ANYTHING. BE WARNED BE WARNED WARNED .

Liars and Rip off artist! Houston loc. on Antoine

Stay away from the one on Antoine in Houston, Texas!!!!! They had my daughters car for 13 weeks! They made her prepay to do the work! It was a run around for 13 weeks. Lie after lie after lie. Today we sat in the shop for 4 hrs. We were not leaving until we got the car. It is still not running well. We were not the only hot customers demanding their car either. I have never experienced liars like this group. It is a family run business. Father, son and his wife. They use a cell phone, no business line in the place. The son was dropping F bombs at me for wanting her car. They do not have any capital to buy parts or basics. We had to buy one item for them to install. I rate them an *** If you read reviews on this company all of the locations in Houston are very negative.

Mr Transmission - Car Repair Review

Alabama/Mobile: $2500.00 cost for complete rebuild. When I picked vehicle up three days later, no clutch working properly and vehicle wouldn't even go into gear. I called them out in it! Another four hours transmission is bled right. Transmission only lasted 47,000 miles. 1 Year Warranty. Same rebuild turnkey cost $1537.00 with a 2 year warranty in MN and Iowa. $2500-****.00 = $900.00 (That included a core for alleged old trans). Come to find out, Mr. Transmission only replaced the damaged parts in the transmission, not "ALL of them from the front to the back, I even threw in a metal plate instead of you old cast aluminum one." like I was initially informed. Someone owes my family and I $900.00 for services "Not Rendered." I served this country under military service with an honorable discharge after ten years for pukes like this. I'm thinking there is other criminal enterprise going on too, but proving it in a courtroom these days would take U.S. President Donald Trump to hold a fair trial, unlike former administrations! We are gonna Make America Great Again Sir! You can bet your ***, Respectfully, DAV A racket is a service that is fraudulently offered to solve a problem, such as for a problem that does not exist, that will not be put into effect, or that would not otherwise exist if the racket did not exist. Conducting a racket is racketeering.

Mr Transmission - Car Repair Review

Took our Dodge Ram to the Mr Transmission on Cobb Parkway in Marietta Georgia for a transmission flush. While waiting for the flush to occur we were told by the salesman that we needed more parts and we had a lot of things wrong with the transmission.. the cost would be $1,200..we agreed and they started the work..after an hour, the owner then called us into his office and gave us a bill for $2,275 after the work was already completed.

We paid the bill because you really had no choice at that point and headed down the highway only made it about 300 miles when are Dodge transmission started to act up and slip... totally disappointed and mad about this if I could give this place a zero rating I would avoid avoid avoid mr.Transmission in Marietta Georgia at all costs 2275

Mr Transmission - Customer Care Review from Houston, Texas

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Mr. Transmission on East Freeway Hoiston,Tx I was scammed from the beginning of my experience. I called to get a quote on a torque converter and they immediately noticed I sounded too nice or I was not too knowledgeable. Long story short, they changed the quote of the part, didn't return phone calls, was very rude, bullied me. The truck went in with a check engine light on, no signs of a failed transmission. Each day I called, supposedly then there was something else until they said, "Your transmission is a mess." They wouldn't give me a written estimate when it was just two parts and even when I wanted to pick up my truck they lied and pretended I was in the beginning stages of just dropping the truck off asking what I needed knowing I wanted an estimate. I recorded the final conversation that proves they never intended on giving me an estimate. They wanted me to just pick up my truck without an estimate and then have me pay $3200 for a complete rebuild instead of something that would have been around $500. Also, I thought it was strange that they collected my driver's license number (at first they wanted my social). I believe that was going to be their way of trying to authorize charges. And from reading here I think that would have lead to them calling the cops and making it seem like I wouldn't pay the charges. They are hip to the game that really cops are not judges and can not solve customer complaints. They would just show doctored documents, almost have a line to say to the cop and make the customer seem like a criminal. I'm planning on taking them to court and I think they are due for a class action suit so they can be put out of business.

I had vehicle picked up and dropped off at company Location on Wednesday 02/10/16

On Thursday 02/11/16 i was advised the transmission pump was the cause of issue and

would have issue fixed by Friday Before Shop Closed which is 6pm,

I did not get any updates or calls until I called around 2pm and was

advised would not repair and replacement of pump completed, time got away from

them and also another part of vehicle the gear shift cable was repaired in past

and was not correctly fixed so they took it upon themselves to repair it and the

cost went up and I advised repair shop foreman I was not advised of any other repairs,

I was not called or emailed or text info.

Friday 02/12/16 I called around 10am and was advised would have it repaired today.

I did not get any update calls on repair status and around 5:30pm I walked to shop to

see why my vehicle was not ready. I arrived at 5:55pm and was asked to wait outside shop

and I saw the open display sign turned off and nobody gave me a heads up on status of my

vehicle, a lot of workers standing outside and non of them worked in repair shop, they worked

in other part of building which is connected thru out.

Saturday 02/13/16 I called around 10am and was advised vehicle would be ready before closing

of Bsn 2, I showed up 1 hour before close of bsn and was assured it would be ready. At around

1:45pm was advised vehicle would not be ready and would be worked on Monday 02/15/16 and would

be given priority to repair or complete repairs in the Morning hours.

Monday 02/15/16 I called around 1:30pm and was advised vehicle not ready, the

transmission pump installed was defective and placed an order to have a replacement part delivered

to shop and should have repairs completed by end of bsn 6pm. I asked why was not given a heads up call or text, I was advised lost track of time.

Monday 02/15/16 At around 5:302pm Rcvd Call from Mr Ed and was advised the transmission not able to put back and will complete work next day before or after lunch time.

On Company Website Says 60 Years As Trusted Professionals, misleading information.

Tuesday 02/16/16 around 2pm, I rcvd call from Mr. Ed completed putting the Transmission on SUV and ready for pickup.

I was not given a discount for them having vehicle due to lack of planning or taking on more vehicles than can handle or perhaps the business name is miss leading and are not transmission experts.

I wonder if mechanics or techs have licenses or certificate to warrant type of work performed on my vehicle. Took to long for simple process of transmission repair or dropping transmission to perform work that should be able to do blind folded because their shop says have been doing transmission repairs for over 60 years.

No Apology when picked up vehicle after 6 days and no discount other than free service of replacing a part I did not ask to work on the shifter cable was loose, however in last two years I have had vehicle I have not issue’s with shifting vehicle from park to drive or reverse.

So I should be compensated for not have means of transportation to get to work and had to ask employer and co-workers for rides to work so I would not lose my job for not showing up.
